Kentucky Repertory Theatre at Horse Cave

REPERTORY SEASON
Nationally recognized for its quality, professional performances, Kentucky Repertory Theatre celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2006. Plays at KRT run in rotating repertory so that visitors can see several plays during a single visit.

Second Weekend in September
September 11-13, 2009
Step back in time and enjoy an old-fashioned, small town festival honoring our rich Civil War heritage. The festival features battle re-enactments and period music, drama, dance, exhibits, encampments, church service, quilt show, high tea, arts & crafts and more.

Horse Cave Heritage Festival
Third Weekend in September
September 18-19, 2009
The event is particularly well known for its musical entertainment, from rock & roll to gospel (Over 20 bands and performers participated in last year’s event). Other activities include: antique cars & farm machinery, local crafts, agricultural exhibits, food booths, kids arcade, historic walking tours, and more.

Aussie Fest at Kentucky Down Under

Aussie Fest is a weekend celebrating the diverse culture and wildlife of Australia. Special events will be held in addition to regular programs, exhibits, and tours available at Kentucky Down Under. Bonnieville Homecoming & Parade
July 4, 2009
Two days of family fun and activities with a parade on Friday at 10 a.m. cst; Friday night fireworks show; Saturday night live band. Stars & Stripes Beauty Pageant will kick off the festival on July 3 at 5 p.m. at Bonnieville Elementary School.  The pageant is " An Official Festival State Preliminary," open to all Kentucky residents.
